Background

Basic personal loan information online

Some people in Taiwan started aware of the online consultant service of personal loan. This service can help clients find out some basic information without going to the bank branch and queuing for speaking to the assistant.

Problem

Difficult information and finance terms

However, most people still choosing not to use it because there are so many difficult information and finance terms to understand even after reading the description and guidance online. They prefer to speak to the assistant in the branch and ask all questions at the same time.

Goal

Increase the usage of the online consultant service for personal loans.

Design Strategy

I was working with the data analytics team in this project. The data analysts provided some useful information, such as "Currently, users usually stay less than 2 minutes and close our web." We also found there were too many professional wordings and finance terms in the first paragraph on the website. This could be the reason that users feel bored and leave the website.

Storytelling

In order to attract users to stay longer and finish reading the information online, the team and I decided to implement a better storytelling.

Define the common scenarios that people need the personal loan
Invite the existing clients from ESUN bank to share their real story: How does the personal loan help in your life?
Represent those real stories online so that users can check the similar occasions they meet
